What causes water marks after ultrasonic cleaning of cover glass?

Possible causes include water hardness above about 20 ppm, residual surfactant from the cleaning solution, or airborne dust and contamination. Keep the environment clean, rinse thoroughly with purified water, blow off water droplets with strong air, and dry the glass vertically.
