2.Gorilla® Glass Processing
Corning® Gorilla® Glass is a brand of specialized toughened glass designed to be thin (0.4-2mm), light and damage-resistant. The glass gains its surface strength and crack-resistance from being chemically strengthened through immersion in a proprietary, hot potassium salt ion-exchange bath. Specialized surface treatments have helped reduce glare, improve aesthetics, enhance scratch resistance, and even cut down on odor and stain causing bacteria, producing glass with exceptionally clean, smooth, flat surfaces and outstanding optical clarity. Gorilla® Glass is an ideal cover sheet for touch screens and so is used primarily as a cover glass for electronic devices, including wearable device, smart home device, digital shower, camera lens, medical equipment,etc.
