Inspiration From Germany Customers Who Have Been Followed-Up For 3 years: Customers Pay Not Only For Your Products, But Also For Your Expertise&Service

Our customer is a well-known Germany company focusing on providing products for life science laboratories. In November 2018, they sent us the first inquiry for cover glass, which is in mass production project,and they wanted to find an alternative supplier in China. So they commissioned colleagues from the ShangHai filiale to investigate. The responsible person from ShangHai found Gelivable via internet searching.

 

 

The cover glass they required is the AG etched glass. While the responsible person in ShangHai didn’t know much about the AG Glass. Our work started from introduction of AG Glass. We discussed much about the glass drawing and offered the quotation. At the same time, the physical sample have been sent to their ShangHai filiale.

We thought back that 2014-2018 is the period we positioned in AG cover glass in industrial control, medical. During this time, what we have done the most is to train customers to know what’s AG glass.

 

In the second month( Dec. 2018),the customer visited and inspected our factory.

But due to the whole project stagnated, there was no updated news for cover glass then.

More than two years have passed, until February 2021, the Customer reached out to us again. They required the other two projects which were in mass productions. The plan of looking for glass suppliers in China have been launched again. The reason that they came to us directly was because they were deeply impressed by our excellent communicate and service last time. This time ,the Germany parent company communicated with us directly. We known that the opportunity came again.

 

 

 

What’s the difference from other customers was that this customer spent much longer time on quotation evaluation stage. Usually, most customers would go ahead for sample production when they think the quotation was suitable.

 

We discussed details through emails, conference calls, and small pieces samples. From the Anti-glare effect of glass, how the color of printing is consistent with the current mass production of products, and many other details. It also showed the rigorous and perfect pursuit work attitude from our Germany customer.

 

It’s known that white color printing on glass would be a special process, especially the white color number have been indicated. In order to make sure the white color we provided is same as what customer required.We adjusted various levels of white small pieces samples in advance for customers to choose. We also discussed the fitting of 3M glue, the packaging of the finished product, the storage environment, etc. We almost discussed and confirmed every details in the drawings and sample. During this period, in order to be able to respond more professionally and efficiently, we arranged a technical team to directly connect with customers. The final sample is confirmed in Sep 2021 and was shipped out in Nov.

 

 

Based on the trust of customers, another project for AG cover glass+ metal parts assembly was finalized. This is also the first project completed by our company’s Precision Machinery Division and Optoelectronics Division. It’s very grateful to our customers for their trust in us.

 

Before the formal cooperation with Gelivable, the customer also inspected the factory again. “When customers need you and you solve the problem for them. You will naturally be reached out next time.” he said.

 

Our understanding for this word is “What make your customer paid for is not only the products, but also your profession and service”.
